Default More fun events!

Never since i was a child have i enjoyed halloween so much and it made me think a little about other possible events.

Between now and Christmas there is only one other possible event and that is November 5th (Guy Fawkes night) but that is a British event so i'm not sure if we will see that but it's a great excuse for a party!
I wouldn't mind celebrating July 4th with our American friends

So Christmas is one that we can probably to see an event based on but what could we see? Pretty obviously, alot of places might have a blanket of snow and i would love to see outside of town (like Old Ascalon) with a blanket of snow, aswell as inside Ascalon city.
Santa clause will probably come and there might be gifts involved (unless of course Anet makes an evil santa who kills folks! lol).
We will probably see antler's atop peoples heads for the festive season and red noses, maybe even santa costumes.
Another addition might be Christmas lights upon our armour - 20 seconds of being lit up like a tree would be fun.
Angels are a Christmas feature and what better way for Female monks (Agh! sexist stereotyping, lol) to dress up than to adorn a pair of golden wings?
Figgy pudding, holly, mistletoe, carol songs galore!

(a /kiss emote MUST be created for the mistletoe - that's a no-brainer...totally essential )

What about other events which aren't based upon any real-life events?

How about a "no death penalty" weekend (so long as it didn't interfer with PvP matches)?
A drunken weekend - Dwarven ale is spiked and it only takes 1 to get fully plastered!

How about a (heh this is a great on-the-spot idea) A holiday island weekend?
Residents of Tyria could buy a return ticket to a far away island. On this island is a beach bar, white sands, waves gently breaking under a golden sun in pristine blue skies, palm trees, a ferry ride upon a huge galleon with multiple decks maybe, an explorable area covers the rest of the island where an old gladiators arena can be found (and refurbished for the weekend and possibly introduced later for good).
This would put everything together for everyone. You'd have beach parties, adventures, PvE, PvP and everyone would want to buy a ticket to this paradise island.
Your imagination is your limit folks!

Easter is another event for the future but i don't know if it would come before or after C2 but i'm looking forward to seeing drops containing easter eggs and hunting the easter bunny.
Perhaps rabbits could become charmable for the week?

Has anyone else got any event ideas or would like to comment on the ones i have mentioned?
